Creative
We are creative with our menu: our cooks come from all over the world and
bring their food cultures to Amsterdam for you to try. They get inspired
by each others' cooking and by various food cultures (such as Ayurvedic,
macrobiotic etc).
We are creative with our space: we exhibit the works of artists in various and mixed disciplines (photography, painting, drawing, knitting, installations etc).
We are creative in our programming: we feature DJs, VJs and live performers from various genres (reggae, punk, electro, jazz, flamenco, drum 'n' bass etc).
We share food and drinks at the lowest possible price.
We ask financially well-off visitors to donate a little extra for the financially-challenged ones. The price for a menu (soup and main course) has a sliding scale, from €6 to €10.
We are happy to make deals with people with little money. Ask at the kitchen.
If there is food left over, we hand it out on a donation basis. Ask at the bar.
